A two-silo barn? What a unique barn that is!

    Hi Cedar,

I know! I’ve never seen another barn like this one. It doesn’t look like the barn is used much anymore, but it’s still in decent shape.

At first I thought the columns were stacked slate, but upon a closer look it appears to be bent wood. Were you present and able to get a closer look? Or are they in fact silos? Very cool either way.

    Hi Baydog,

Yes, it’s bent wood. They look like silos, but I’m entirely sure. Like I told Cedar, I’ve never seen a barn like this one. It’s a beauty.

    Baydog,

I meant to say I’m NOT entirely sure about the silos. I’m going to try an investigate this and try to learn more about the style of this barn.

Hi Sharon — It really is strange. I know a barn expert/historian who works with the state, and I’ll see if she can provide some explanation for the odd silos.

I think it’s sort of spooky looking. It could be used on the set of a scary movie. It has interesting character though. Never seen one like it.
