Early Winter Snow
December 17, 2009
With the winter solstice just a few days away, we’re all gearing up for a snowy season in Vermont. Several areas around the state, including Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley, have received a decent amount of snow over the past week.
Temperatures have dipped into the single digits and more snow is in the forecast next week. Looks like we’ll have a white Christmas after all.

Posted at 13:08h, 17 DecemberOh, I hope we get more snow down here next week too!
I’ve only been to Vermont in the summer and fall. I really should come check it out in the winter.

Posted at 02:59h, 18 DecemberSo are you going skiing Erica? I’m not much of a cold weather/snow person anymore but it sure is pretty! Here’s hoping the ski area’s have a good year!

Posted at 00:23h, 19 DecemberHi Alyson — You should definitely come up to VT in the winter. It’s really nice. Looks like you’re going to get some snow this weekend!
Hi Doreen – Thanks for stopping by.
Hi Richard — It is a bit chilly right now. I guess I might as well get used to it.
Hi Sharon — I will definitely get out on the slopes soon. Somehow the weeks just keep slipping by. I can’t believe it’s almost January. Stay warm!
