Somehow I’ve managed to visit 8 of Vermont’s 14 counties this fall foliage season. It’s been a while since I’ve toured so much of the state in such a short period of time. I’m working part time these days, which gives me more time to spend with Phoebe and more opportunities to explore Vermont with my family.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve visited Mount Snow, Stowe, Manchester, Brandon, Warren, Middlebury, and Shelburne. I traveled solo to Peacham in the Northeast Kingdom on Oct. 3, which was one of the brightest, most beautiful days of the season. Each trip this fall has been memorable and Vermont’s foliage has been nothing short of outstanding.
Foliage in Vermont is winding down, but there’s still so much to see. If I’m lucky, maybe I’ll get a few more counties under my belt before this glorious season comes to an end.
